Meet Dr. Shoshana Scott DMS, HD
Hello and welcome!
My five year full-time education and training in Homeopathic medicine, includes an internship in Southern India. My training has enabled me to address modern health problems for people of all ages using this gentle yet effective system of medicine. It has been my great privilege to assist clients with health concerns, build immunity and restore their sense of well-being. I have been in full-time Homeopathic practice for over 18 years. In addition to clinics in Victoria, my practice includes consultations around the world via phone, Skype and FaceTime.
My Homeopathic education includes a four year full-time diploma of Homeopathic Medical Science (DMS) including all of the allied medical sciences with an internship at Father Mueller’s Homeopathic Medical Education and Research centre with a 400 bed Allopathic/Homeopathic combined hospital in Mangalore, India.
My Homeopathic internship took place in India and was eyeopening. Homeopathy is the number one system of medicine in India and an entire Government Department regulates the standards of education, research and practice. Homeopathic and Allopathic doctors are similarly trained and often work in the same hospitals.
I discovered Homeopathy through an amazing and acclaimed Homeopathic doctor, Dr Leelamma Nielsen, DMS while I was struggling with a serious health condition. To my surprise, Homeopathy completely restored my health. I was studying Chemistry at the University of Winnipeg at the time and was completely astounded that a Homeopathic or micro dose of medicine could effect changes in my bloodwork and in how I looked and felt!
I began working at Dr Nielsen’s Homeopathic clinic in Winnipeg where I watched how Homeopathic medicine effectively treated many other problems that the regular medical system couldn’t address. I switched career paths and studied Homeopathy in order to provide my friends, family and community the choice in health care that I was fortunate enough to receive myself.
My dream is for Homeopathic medicine to be widely available as a viable health care option. If the best of all medical systems could work together, what an incredibly healthy society we would be.
